After 23 Years again repeating "Camino Francés" a beautifal experience.------------------------------------Etapa 1, about 21 km, about 6 hours, from Saint-Jean-Pied-de Port to Roncesvalles, cruzar los Pirineos, / from Saint-Jean, 1h15 to Honto, 2h45 to Frontera, 1 hour to Lepouder and 1 hour to Roncesvalles./ Comer: Mejor cargar un picnic ligero, las oportunidades de consegir comida se reducen al Refugio de Orisson, demasiado al principio de la jornada. En Roncesvalles no hay tiendas, se puede cenar en los dos restaurantes. / Refugio de Montagne-Orisson, tel. 0033 559 491 303., 18 plazas, abierto de abril a octubre, www.refuge-orisson.com // Roncesvalles-Orreaga Albergue Itzandegia, Antiguo hospital de peregrinos, tel. 0034 948 760 000, 118 plazas (18 en invierno), abierto todo el año. // En bicicleta: from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port by D-933 along Rio la Nive d'Arnéguy to Arnéguy, by N-135 to Valcarlos, by N-135 to Puerto de Ibañeta (1.057 m), until Roncesvalles (Orreaga). // Etapa invernal: Los peregrinos que acometan esta primera etapa feura de temporada pueden encontrar mucha nieve entre diciembre y mayo. Deja la vila por la puerta de Francia y va en la carretera de Luzaide (Valcarnlos). Siempre que puede se escurre por el bosque, y tiene tramos realmente bonitos por Ganekoleta y Gorozgarai. Es mas larga pero segura, y conecta con el camino principal en Ibañeta. // Dormir: En Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, gran oferta de alojamiento. El albergue municipal Ultreia-donación voluntaria- abre todo el año. En Roncesvalles el albergue (0034 948 760 000), tambien abre todo el año, con servicios básicos. // ------Etapa 2, about 23,5 km., about 6h35 min., from Roncesvalles to Larrasoaña, Hayedos pirenaicos, from Roncesvalles 45 min. to Burguete (Auritz), from here 1 hour to Espinal (Aurizberri), passing Alto de Mezkiritz 922 m. continuing by Alto de Erro 801 m. to Zubarri about 3h50 min. and another hour to end the stage in Larrasoaña. // Comer: Larrasoaña no está equipado para cenar. Hay un bar de horarios erráticos que fuera de temporada puede estar cerrado. Lo mejor es aprovisionarse en Zubiri o pueblos anteriores, donde hay tiendas de ultramarinos,. La de Biscarreta ofrece pan y fruta fresca, mientras que las demás suelen ceñirse a alimentos envasados. El propio albergue de Larrasoaña tiene a la venta algunos viveres, pero si se elige opción ya no habrá mas posibilidad que adaptar el ágape a lo que esté disponible. // Botas abandonadas, Las dos etapas pirenaicas no son, desde luego, la manera más suave de iniciar una travesía. Sin embargo, sabiédolo , hay que ir mental y fisicamente preparados. Y, sobre todo, revisar el material que se va a  antes de partir. No es nada infrecuente ver botas  desfondadas y abondonadas como las del Alto de Erro, que han dicho basta en los bosques navarros. // Fuente para peregrinos, Biscarreta. // Puente sobre el río Arga, Larrasoaña. // Dormir: El albergue municipal de Larrasoaña (tel. 0034 661 100 774.) esta aberto todo el día, pero la hospitalera no aparece hasta las 3 de la tarde. Si se llega antes de esa hora y la puerta está abierta hay que instalarse y después arreglar con ella la estancia. Atención a los que cuenten con dormir en pensión. Hay tres en el casco urbano, pero fuera de temporada suelen estar cerradas, abren a partir de mayo. // ---------------------Etapa 3, about 12,8 km., about 3h35 min., de Larrasoaña to Pamplona (Iruña.), Paseo junto al rio Arga. / From Larrasoaña 1 hour 10 minutes to Zuriain, about 1 hour and 25 minutes to Irotz, from Irotz about 1 hour and 50 minutes to Zabaldika, from here about 2 hours and 35 minutes to Trinidad de Arre, another 2 hours and 55 minutes to Burlada, and about 3 hours and 35 minutes to finish in Pamplona (Iruña), // Passing una valla para el ganado a la altura de Akerreta, / Passing Puente medieval sobre el Rio Arga, / Passing una placa antigua en Trinidad de Arre, / Passing la Escuela de Villava al pie del Camino, / Passing el Monumento a los Fueros en Pamplona. // - To Visit: ----- / Comer: A lo largo de esta jornada no es posible aprovisionarse hasta llegar a Trinidad de Arre. Algunos peregrinos considerarán que ya pueden aguantar hasta Pamplona (Iruña.), donde la multitud de restaurantes es apabullante. Atención a algunos locales muy conocidos del casco viejo, pueden tener precios muy altos. En general en la cíudad no se encuentran menús expresamente para peregrinos, pero la oferta es tan abundante que todo el mundo encontrará algo adecuado a su bolsillo y necesidades. //
