-Saturday 14.03.2020, Blue Walk is postponed to later date because of "PANDEMIA GLOBAL" of Covid-19 / Coronavirus!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------- +SÁBADO, 14.03.2020, SECOND BLUE WALK ALONG THE CAMINHO, leaving from Conceicao to New Almargem Bridge in opposite direction, to Canada to Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora da Conceicao to end. More precise Information after 1st Blue Walk in February on our Blog before 31.01.2020. ----------------------------------------------------------------- -Saturday 15.02.2020, Tavira First Blue Walk until New Bridge over Almargem River, Blocked since 2017, see further on this Blog! Under the Post SNIPPETS we can read on the Blog of this Association an ALERT that this Bridge was damaged and blocked for all traffic(see photographs), already on 02.10. and 31.10.2017!. Although it can be used again, since about 2 weeks on foot and by bicycle, it is not completely safe-protected for children!!(see picture!). BE CAREFUL!! -Cleaning-up along the Route of the Caminho on Saturday 15.02.2020, was done by 2 small groups of Volunteers, all of Int. Nationality, in total 8 pax. Result: 2 huge bags of paper, 1 big bag of Plastic and 1 huge bag of other rubbish, including a pair of used shoes. ----------------------------------------------------------------- +SÁBADO, 15.02.2020, BLUE WALK TAVIRA, 14h00 leaving from IGREJA MATRIZ DE SANTIAGO, following Route Caminho until new Bridge over Almargem River, to end this Clean-Up along the Caminho around 16h30. From Containers we will walk back to Igreja Matriz de Santiago by a different Route, to end the Activity around 17h30 about. Bring gloves to protect your hands, wear old but warm clothes and walking-shoes. Only bring max. half a liter of drinking-water and a jacket against the rain. Young children should bring a parent if they like to come along to clean-up along the Caminho. Bom Caminho. ----------------------------------------------------------------
